When I am prompted to think of water, I am instantly transported to the tranquil image that is the muddy waters of the Murray River. Nostalgic, with a scamper and a splash, the Rakali (Australian native water rat) inhabits this little pocket of my memory, by the Murray. And is my inspiration behind this piece.
